How does a PWM solar charge controller work?

The working principle of PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) solar charge controller is mainly based on pulse width modulation technology, which realizes constant current charging of the battery by controlling the switching frequency and duty cycle of the charging current. The following is a detailed explanation of the working of the PWM solar charge controller:

1. Solar Power Generation: The solar panels generate DC (direct current) electricity, which is fed into the charge controller.
2. Battery Charging Process: The PWM charge controller modulates the charging process by switching the power on and off rapidly. It does this by varying the "pulse width" (how long the power is on in each cycle), which effectively controls the amount of power delivered to the battery.
3. Voltage Regulation: When the battery is at a lower charge, the 10 amp pwm solar charge controller sends longer pulses, allowing more power to flow into the battery.
