0.4 kW (1/2 hp) variable frequency inverter, single phase input & output variable frequency drive, 220V AC, 0-400.00Hz. Equipped with an LED screen, the vfd inverter with single phase output can monitor data changes in real-time, and heat dissipation aluminum fins to improve the heat dissipation performance of the frequency inverter. The variable frequency drive inverter has the characteristic of adjusting the motor speed, so it can effectively reduce the motor's energy consumption, thus saving electricity bills.

Note:

  1. The single phase motor should not be adjusted to run based on a lower frequency than 80% of its rated frequency for along time, otherwise the motor may fail.
  2. Our frequency inverter cannot be used as a power source, it can only be directly connected to an induction motor to control the motor speed.
  3. This frequency inverter does not control the reverse operation of the motor, if you want to reverse operation, please refer to the motor nameplate instructions.
FAQ

How to wire a single-phase inverter to a motor?

  • Connect the power supply: connect the firewire (usually red or brown) of the single-phase power cord to the L1 terminal of the inverter and the zero wire (usually blue or black) to the L2 terminal of the inverter. Make sure the connection is secure and be careful not to short-circuit.
  • Connecting the motor: Connect the power cord of the single-phase motor to the output of the variable frequency inverter. Usually, the firewire of the motor is connected to the U terminal of the vfd inverter, and the zero wire is connected to the V or W terminal of the inverter.com (the specific connection may vary depending on the model of the inverter, please refer to the manual of the inverter).
  • Connect the control line (if necessary): if you need to use external control equipment (such as PLC, touch screen, etc.) to control the inverter, connect the corresponding control line to the control terminal of the inverter.
  • Connect the grounding wire: Connect the grounding wire of the inverter to the grounding terminal to ensure safe grounding.
  • Check the wiring: After the wiring is completed, carefully check whether all connections are firm and reliable to ensure that there is no miswiring or short-circuiting.
  • Starting and debugging: After making sure that the wiring is correct, turn on the power switch of the frequency inverter, and start and debug according to the operation steps in the manual. Observe the running status of the motor to ensure normal operation.

An inverter that has great performance for the price!
This 0.4 kW single-phase output frequency inverter has been working flawlessly. The LED screen is clear and easy to navigate. It's perfect for small motors, though I wish it had a bit more power for larger applications. Overall, it’s solid and affordable.

Efficiency at Low Loads
Inverters are generally less efficient at low loads. Users with occasional or light power requirements should consider the inverter's efficiency at low loads to avoid unnecessary energy losses.

Awesome small VFD!
My VFD is quiet, the nameplate has most of the info you need, and the paint and finishes are well done. But for a hobby motor, this is exactly what you need, and it's cheaper than anything I've seen.
