How does a solar water pump work?

Energy conversion: Solar water pumps use solar cell modules to absorb solar radiation energy and convert it into electrical energy.
The converted electrical energy is regulated by a photovoltaic pumping inverter or controller, and the output power is adjusted in real time according to the changes in sunlight intensity so that the output power is close to the maximum power of the solar cell array.
Electric energy drive: The regulated electrical energy drives the solar water well pump to work. In photovoltaic water pump systems with a power level of less than 10kW, DC brushless permanent magnet motor drive is mostly used; in large photovoltaic water pump systems, AC asynchronous transmission may be used.
The drive motor drives the impeller of the solar powered water pump to rotate, thereby generating suction and pressure to achieve water extraction and transportation.
Water transportation: When the impeller of the solar submersible water pump rotates, it creates a low-pressure area, so that water in the water source is sucked into the water pump.
As the impeller continues to rotate, the water is pressurized and transported to where it is needed, such as farmland, fish ponds, and household water.

For the performance, this pump is good.

I hooked up this 300W solar water pump to my small pool system, and it runs smooth and steady all day. The flow is strong enough for my needs. Setup was simple with the DC controller, and I like that it’s energy-saving since it runs off solar.

Just what I need

It has been three months since I bought this 300W 24V solar water pump. Just what I need. Stainless steel material is really great. I am happy with this water pump and have no complaints. I want to buy another soon as a gift for a friend's fountain.
