On grid inverters / Grid tied inverters series from inverter.com are compact size, which directly convert direct current into alternating current for powering appliances and / or office equipments and connecting to utility grid. Its primary function is to convert the direct current (DC) generated by solar panels into alternating current (AC), which is the standard form of electricity used by household appliances and the electrical grid.

Grid connected inverter is a crucial component in solar power systems that integrate with the electrical grid. For series of 300 watt to 1000 watt rated power inverters, feature with pure sine wave output, no battery design, wide DC input (20V-50V DC) and AC output (90-140V AC / 180-260V AC) range.

For single phase 1500W to 10kW inverters and three phase 5kW to 50kW inverters, feature with LCD dispaly, transformerless type, multiple inverters can be operated in parallel. All grid tie inverters built-in high performance maximum power point tracking (MPPT), MPPT efficiency more than 98%.  Grid on inverter is integral to optimizing solar energy usage, reducing electricity bills, and promoting renewable energy integration into the broader power grid. How does grid connected inverter work?

For single phase grid on inverter, this type of solar inverter converts direct current (DC) from solar panels into alternating current (AC) that matches the voltage, frequency, and phase of the electrical grid. It uses maximum power point tracking (MPPT) to optimize the energy harvest from solar panels. The inverter synchronizes with the grid frequency using a phase-locked loop (PLL) and ensures that the AC output is in phase with the grid. Excess energy generated is fed into the grid, while an anti-islanding protection mechanism ensures it shuts down during grid outages to protect utility workers and equipment.

The working principle of the three phase grid connected inverter is to convert direct current into alternating current through electronic components. In photovoltaic or wind power generation systems, the direct current generated by photovoltaic panels or wind turbines enters the three-phase inverter through the conversion device of DC and AC. The inverter converts the input direct current into alternating current with a phase interval of 120 degrees between each other, and connects it to the main grid with the same voltage. The inverter will automatically adjust according to the voltage and frequency of the main grid to achieve effective grid connected power supply.
