FAQ

What are the AC commercial power preferred modes of solar inverter with MPPT charge controller?

  1. Grid-Tied Mode (On-Grid Mode):
    Operation: In this mode, the solar inverter works in sync with the utility grid. The MPPT charge controller ensures that the solar panels produce maximum power, which is used to supply the connected load first.
    Excess Power: Any excess power that the solar system generates beyond what is needed for the load is sent back to the utility grid.
  2. Self-Consumption Mode (Zero Export Mode):
    Operation: This mode is designed to maximize the consumption of the solar power generated onsite. The inverter prioritizes using the generated solar power for the immediate load, and the MPPT ensures maximum power extraction from the panels.
    Grid Usage: If the solar power produced is insufficient to meet the load, the inverter with mppt solar charger will draw power from the grid. However, the amount drawn from the grid can be limited or controlled based on the system settings.
  3. Off-Grid Mode (Stand-Alone Mode):
    Operation: In off-grid mode, the solar inverter with mppt solar controller operates independently of the utility grid. All power used by the load is generated by the solar system or stored in batteries (if included). Excellent charge controller
Use this PWM controller to make charging faster, especially important in winter when sunlight is limited. Another thing I love about this controller is the illuminated display feature, which cycles through panel voltage, charge current, and battery voltage readings.
