FAQ

How to install a mppt solar charge controller?

  1. Choose a suitable location:
    The installation location should be selected on a solid surface to ensure that the 48 volt solar charge controller can be stably fixed to prevent damage due to vibration or external force.
    The installation location should be convenient for heat dissipation, avoid direct sunlight and high-temperature environments, and stay away from humid, dusty, flammable, explosive, and corrosive gas places to ensure the electrical performance and safety of the controller.
  2. Fix the controller:
    Use accessories such as wall mounts or fixed brackets to fix the controller on a vertical plane. Pay attention to ensure that the direction of the 48v mppt solar charge controller is correct during installation for easy observation and control.
  3. Connect cables:
    Connect the input line (portable solar panel lead), output line (battery lead) and load line in sequence. When connecting the cable, pay attention to distinguishing the positive and negative poles to ensure the correct connection. It is recommended to use a suitable cable to ensure that the current density is greater than 5A/mm² to reduce the line voltage drop.
  4. Connect the communication cable (if there is a remote monitoring function or communication function):
    Insert one end of the communication cable into the corresponding communication port of the hybrid charge controller, and the other end to the corresponding monitoring device or communication device.
  5. Inspection and testing:
