What is the development of modified sine wave inverters?

1. Square Wave Inverters: Early inverters produced a square wave AC output, characterized by abrupt transitions from the positive maximum value to the negative maximum value. This abrupt change caused significant instability and poor load handling, with only 40-60% of the rated power being usable.
