This 4kW single-phase to three-phase solar pump inverter converts DC solar input (120~400V, recommended MPPT 250~400V) or single-phase AC 220V into three-phase AC 220V output, driving standard three-phase pumps from solar or single-phase grid power.  Forced air cooling with a removable fan ensures quiet, stable performance and easy cleaning. RS485 communication supports remote monitoring. IP20 protection and no condensation at <95% RH make it reliable for urban water supply, sewage purification, and agricultural irrigation.

What are the considerations for installing a solar pump inverter?

  1. Ventilation Conditions: When installing indoors, ensure proper ventilation or install a ventilation system to allow effective heat dissipation from the pump inverter. In high-temperature environments (above 40°C but not exceeding 50°C), additional cooling measures, such as removing the inverter cover or opening the cabinet front door, are recommended. However, always ensure safety to avoid electrical shock risks.
  2. Temperature Range: The solar water pumping system is suitable for environments with a temperature range of -10°C to 40°C. Operating outside this range may affect the inverter’s performance and lifespan. In hot environments, special attention should be given to cooling, and in cold environments, measures to prevent condensation should be taken.
  3. Humidity and Moisture Protection: The installation site should maintain humidity below 90% to avoid short circuits or corrosion within the solar pumping inverter. Ensure the site is free of frost, as freezing conditions can damage the equipment.
  4. Lighting Conditions: Avoid direct sunlight exposure to the water pump inverter. Prolonged exposure can increase the device's temperature and affect performance. Ensure the inverter is shielded from excessive heat sources.
  5. Safety Distance: Keep the solar VFD away from flammable, explosive materials, and corrosive gases or liquids to ensure a safe and hazard-free installation environment. Ensure the area around the inverter is free of dust, fibers, or metal particles that could enter the device and cause malfunctions.
  6. Vibration Protection: Install the solar pump controller in a location where there is no strong vibration, with vibration amplitude not exceeding 0.6G. Pay special attention to avoiding installation near stamping machines, vibrating equipment, or other sources of vibration that could damage the inverter over time.
  7. Electromagnetic Compatibility: Install the water pump solar inverter away from electromagnetic interference sources, such as high-power radio transmitters or high-frequency welding machines, to prevent interference that could affect the normal operation of the inverter.
