7.5 hp vertical centrifugal pump with 16.3m3/h maximum flow, 52m maximum head and 50mm diameter of inlet and outlet.

Features:

  1. The centrifugal pump has the vertical structure. The diameter of the inlet and outlet are the same. And the inlet and outlet are on the same center line, so that the vertical centrifugal pump can be installed in the pipeline like a valve. If a protective cover is added, it can be used in the open air.
  2. It is easy to install and maintain. No need to dismantle pipeline system, just lifting off the conjunction flat nut of vertical pump. Then all the rotor parts can be taken out.
  3. Vertical centrifugal pump can be operating in series or parallel connection according to the requirements of flow and head.
  4. Vertical pump can be installed in vertically type or horizontally type according to the requirement of pipeline system.

Tips: Operation steps of stopping the centrifugal pump

  1. The impeller of the centrifugal pump is the most important component of the centrifugal pump. In order to avoid the water flow backward in stopping, the outlet valve should be closed first to prevent the impeller from being damaged.
  2. After the centrifugal pump stops operating, the inlet valve of the pump should be closed. When the centrifugal pump cools down, the valves of the auxiliary systems should be closed successively, otherwise, the centrifugal pump will be damaged.
  3. The high-temperature centrifugal pump should be stopped according to the technical documents of the equipment. After stopping, it shall be stopped for half a circle in every 20 to 30 minutes until the temperature of the pump drops to 50℃.
    In stopping the low-temperature centrifugal pump, when there is no special requirement, the pump should be filled with liquid, the suction valve and discharge valves should be maintained open. For the low-temperature pump with double mechanical seals, the liquid level controller and the sealant in the pump seal chamber should maintain the pump's grouting pressure.
  4. After turning off the centrifugal pump, we should notice if the noise and vibration generated in pump start-up will disappear quickly as the centrifugal pump is turned off. If it disappears quickly, it proves that there is a stuck phenomenon inside the centrifugal pump and the pump should be checked and maintained in time.
  5. The centrifugal pumps conveying the crystallization, solidification and sedimentation media, blockage should be avoided after stopping the pump. Please use the clean water or other media to wash the pump and pipe timely.  
  6. Drain the inventory liquid in the centrifugal pump, avoid corrosion and frost crack.

Attentions:

  1. After stopping the centrifugal pump, the clean work shall still be done well.
  2. In cold weather, especially as to the outdoor pump, the liquid in the pump should be drained immediately to avoid freezing and breaking the pump body.
  3. The reserved centrifugal pump should be regularly started.

7.5hp vertical centrifugal pump has good sealing
A 7.5hp vertical centrifugal pump arrived in the afternoon today. It took me about an hour to install, everything went as planned. The sealing is good, and there is no leakage problem. This pump runs so quiet that I couldn't hear it until I got right next to it.
