1-Phase 220V to 3-phase 380V frequency inverter multiple keyboard

Multiple-Function Keyboard

The frequency inverter is equipped with a multi-functional keypad that integrates parameter setting, operation control, status monitoring, and fault diagnostics. Users can easily adjust parameters such as frequency, voltage, and acceleration/deceleration times, as well as perform operations like start, stop, and jog. Additionally, the keypad provides real-time display of output frequency, current, voltage, and fault codes, facilitating on-site commissioning and maintenance.
1 to 3-phase frequency inverter sturdy structure

Sturdy Structure

The frequency inverter features a thickened metal housing and an internally reinforced support structure, offering robust resistance to vibration, impact, and dust. This design effectively protects critical components—such as IGBT modules, capacitors, and circuit boards—against loosening or damage caused by mechanical stress. Consequently, the frequency inverter ensures long-term, stable operation in harsh industrial environments characterized by high temperatures, high humidity, and heavy dust.
1 to 3-phase frequency inverter heat exhaust vent

Heat Exhaust Vents

The frequency inverter establishes a "cool-in, hot-out" airflow path through ventilation vents in the enclosure; combined with internal heat sinks and fans, this system efficiently dissipates heat generated by components such as IGBTs, rectifier bridges, and reactors. Effective ventilation maintains the internal temperature within permissible limits, preventing issues caused by excessive heat—such as component derating, thermal protection trips, or even burnout—thereby ensuring reliable operation even under full-load conditions.

Features

  1. Frequency Accuracy: Digital setting accuracy reaches ±0.01% of the maximum frequency, while analog setting accuracy is ±0.2%. The frequency output is stable and precise, ensuring consistent performance during synchronized multi-unit operation—making it suitable for applications with strict speed requirements.
  2. Torque Boost: Supports both automatic and manual torque boost (adjustable from 0.1% to 30.0%). Settings can be flexibly configured based on load characteristics to compensate for insufficient torque during low-speed operation, ensuring powerful starting and preventing motor stall under heavy loads.
  3. Built-in PID Controller: The built-in PID controller accepts signals from sensors (such as pressure, temperature, or flow) and automatically adjusts the output to maintain the setpoint. This enables the creation of a closed-loop control system without the need for an external controller, simplifying the system structure and enhancing control precision.

Use Cases

  • Water Supply & HVAC: Constant-pressure water supply, pumps, fans, cooling towers, and HVAC circulation systems; PID closed-loop control ensures stable pressure and flow.
  • Industrial Processing: Air compressors, conveyor belts, mixers, food processing machinery, woodworking routers, and stone cutters; vector control ensures high torque at low speeds.
  • Agriculture & Outdoor: Agricultural irrigation, sprinkler systems, car washers, rolling shutters, and barrier gates; compatible with single-phase power supply and offers flexible installation.
  • Lifting & Transport: Small lifting equipment, hoists, and conveyor lines; ensures smooth startup and reduces inrush current.
  • Energy-Saving Retrofits: Variable-load equipment such as fans and pumps; automatic energy-saving operation for long-term electricity cost reduction.
  • Closed-Loop Control Applications: Motor speed control systems requiring PID closed-loop operation via pressure, temperature, or flow sensors.

FAQ

Q1: Can a variable frequency drive (VFD) be connected to a single-phase motor?

No. Regardless of whether the input is single-phase or three-phase, the VFD output is always three-phase and is designed to drive only three-phase motors. Single-phase motors (equipped with capacitors) cannot be directly connected to the VFD output.

Q2: Under what circumstances must a VFD be derated?

Derating is required in the following main situations: when the ambient temperature exceeds 40°C (e.g., derating by 2–4% for every 1°C rise above 40°C); when the carrier frequency is increased (higher carrier frequencies result in greater VFD losses and reduced output current capacity); when the installation altitude exceeds 1,000m (derating by 1% for every 100m increase in altitude); and when the supply voltage is lower than the rated value (e.g., for the 380V series, power is derated by 1% for every 4V drop in voltage).

Q3: What are the common causes of VFD overcurrent trips?

Overcurrent is the most frequent alarm condition for VFDs. Common causes include: load short-circuits or mechanical jams; damage to the inverter module; acceleration time set too short; torque compensation (V/F) settings set too high; and the current upper limit set too low.
