2. How do the two solar panels charge the battery?
The two polycrystalline silicon panels built into the body convert available sunlight into stored power in the battery automatically, with no cable required. For best efficiency, orient both panels toward direct sunlight. The panels also contribute charge in diffuse daylight conditions, though at a slower rate than under direct sun.
3. What is the digital display for?
The digital display shows the remaining battery percentage in real time, allowing users to monitor charge state accurately during use. This is more precise than a multi-LED indicator bar and lets users decide when to recharge before the battery runs critically low during a task or outing.
4. How do the magnetic base and hanging hook work?
The magnetic base on the underside of the body attaches to any ferrous metal surface — vehicle panels, tool cabinets, steel beams — in a single motion, holding the light securely without clamps or stands. The hanging hook at the bottom provides an alternative mounting point on tent poles, nails, hooks, and other non-metal anchor points. Both options keep the light hands-free and correctly angled during work.
5. What is the IP33 rating?
IP33 means the unit is protected against solid particles larger than 2.5mm and against water spray at angles up to 60° from vertical. In practical terms, this covers use in light rain, splash exposure, and dusty outdoor and job-site environments. The unit is not rated for submersion or heavy rain exposure.
