A compact 12V/24V PWM solar charge controller is an ideal device for a solar energy control system, a current 20 amp, with a USB port, digital LCD, and is easy to use.


Features

    Complete 3-stage PWM charging management.
  2. 12v PWM solar charge controller with built-in over current, short circuit protection, open circuit protection, and reverse connection protection, are self-recovery, with no damage to the controller.
  3. 20a pwm solar charge controller equipped with double MOS backflow circuit with ultra-low calorific value.
  4. Switch function of rechargeable lithium battery and lead-acid battery (long press 3 seconds at the interface of battery type to enter the switch setting), the default is a lithium battery.

What is the difference between an MPPT and a PWM charge controller?

  1. Charging Method
    The difference between the PWM controller and the MPPT solar controller is that they charge differently. The PWM is charged in a three-stage charging mode. MPPT is the maximum power tracking technology, and the charging efficiency can be increased to about 30%.
  2. Voltage
    When the MPPT solar charge controller is used, the charging efficiency is more obvious when the high-voltage solar panel is used to charge the low-voltage battery. If the voltage of the solar energy and the battery are the same, for example, it is 12V, then the difference between the practical PWM and the MPPT solar controller is not very big.
  3. Power
    If the power of the solar panel is small, it is more appropriate to select a PWM charge controller. Relatively speaking, if the power of the solar panel is large, MPPT is selected.

Cheap and smart, but the display could be clearer.
The 20A PWM charge controller works great with both my lithium and lead-acid setups, and I like that it auto-adjusts between 12V and 24V systems. The LCD gets the job done, but the display isn’t the brightest in sunlight.

For the price, it’s definitely a solid choice.
I’ve been using this 20A PWM solar charge controller for my off-grid system, and it has a cool feature that switches between lithium and lead acid batteries, which is a big plus. The only thing is, I wish it had a bit more customization for advanced settings.

An easy-to-use and versatile solar controller
The 20 amp pwm solar charge controller has performed well. I love that it’s smart enough to switch between lithium and lead-acid batteries, and the LCD keeps me in the loop about everything. The USB output is a handy touch for charging small devices directly.

I have bought this solar controller many times and it is reliable!
I have installed the solar controller on 4 campers/caravans. It's a very forgiving sturdy controller and works great!!!

I have it installed on the boat. It charges 2 banks of 27 deep cycle batteries from a single 100w panel. Even with the 12 volt refrigerator running 24 hours, it kept the battery fully charged, allowing us to charge 2 iPhones and an iPad and use all the other electronics on board. I didn't expect this simple setup to work this well, but it's absolutely awesome! Easy to install and use.
