Power Inverter Applications

Tips: Two main factors to be considered when buying a power inverter
There are only two things to consider when buying an inverter.
First, what type of the device or appliance is the inverter used for? (Modified sine wave inverter or pure sine wave inverter)
Second, what power rating of the inverter does your appliance need? (200W, 400W, 1000W...)
Generally speaking, if there is no power adapter on the power side, you need sine wave inverter. The appliances or devices such as electric rice cooker, induction cooker, hair dryer, massage hammer, energy-saving lamp, TV, etc., generally do not have power adapter, and have another characteristic of narrow voltage input, which is ~120V 50/60hz or ~220V 50/60hz. If the power side has a power adapter, pure sine wave power inverter will not be considered. The electronics like laptop, camera battery charger, and drone charger have the wide voltage input 100-240V 50-60 Hz. Due to the protection of the power adapter, it is not likely to damage these electronics via modified sine wave inverter.
Next, how much output power of an inverter is required? First you need to see how much power your car cigarette lighter can use. The general car cigarette lighter has two types of output: 12V 10A ≤ 120W or 12V 15A ≤ 180W. A cigarette lighter connected to an appliance greater than this will blow your fuse. Inverters larger than 200W have to be connected to the battery. If it is a modified wave inverter, 200W is enough.
