Power Inverter Applications

Modified sine wave power inverter applications

Tips: Two main factors to be considered when buying a power inverter

There are only two things to consider when buying an inverter.
First, what type of the device or appliance is the inverter used for? (Modified sine wave inverter or pure sine wave inverter)
Second, what power rating of the inverter does your appliance need? (200W, 400W, 1000W...)

Generally speaking, if there is no power adapter on the power side, you need sine wave inverter. The appliances or devices such as electric rice cooker, induction cooker, hair dryer, massage hammer, energy-saving lamp, TV, etc., generally do not have power adapter, and have another characteristic of narrow voltage input, which is ~120V 50/60hz or ~220V 50/60hz. If the power side has a power adapter, pure sine wave power inverter will not be considered. The electronics like laptop, camera battery charger, and drone charger have the wide voltage input 100-240V 50-60 Hz. Due to the protection of the power adapter, it is not likely to damage these electronics via modified sine wave inverter.

Next, how much output power of an inverter is required? First you need to see how much power your car cigarette lighter can use. The general car cigarette lighter has two types of output: 12V 10A ≤ 120W or 12V 15A ≤ 180W. A cigarette lighter connected to an appliance greater than this will blow your fuse. Inverters larger than 200W have to be connected to the battery. If it is a modified wave inverter, 200W is enough.

The 3000W inverter works well and can be remotely controlled
This is my second inverter purchase at iverter.com. It's easy to use, works well, and is well made. The 24V 3000W inverter draws more idle current than I expected, but this can be foreseen in future designs, the remote start/stop is good, the display is good, and the inverter can also be remote controlled, which is great it is good.

Great power inverter for the price!
I bought this inverter to replace the old 3000 watt inverter that finally gave up on me. I have run a large and small fridge and mini fridge at the same time with this unit. It is much quieter than my old unit. It also runs the electric drill without any problems, which is very important. I power it with 3 marine batteries connected to a battery isolator that allows the truck alternator to keep the battery pack charged without draining the main truck battery

Questions about the inverter volume
Hello, with your 12V 2000 Watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter, is the fan ever completely silent or is it always spinning? May I ask how loud the fan is in dB? Thank you.

Responded by inverter.com
The fan starts automatically when the temperature reaches 45 degrees, and the noise level is approx 65dB or less.
24v 3000w power inverter necessary for every car owner
I have always wanted to equip my car with a power inverter. Because there is no place to charge mobile phones and computers in the parking lot or in traffic jams, through the introduction of friends and my own understanding, I bought this 24v 3000w power inverter from the Inverter.com online store. Since I bought it, I no longer have to worry about my cell phone and computer running out of power while driving.
