How many load types?

In the photovoltaic off-grid system, the power of the off-grid inverter is generally confirmed according to the load type and power of the user. The load is classified into the following types according to the impedance property: Resistive load, inductive load, and capacitive load.

  • Resistive load. The load with no phase difference between current and voltage is a resistive load, such as the electric cooker, bulb, electric furnace, electric soldering iron and so on.
  • Inductive load. It is an inductive load if the current is one phase difference lagging behind the voltage, such as the washing machine, air conditioner, refrigerator, water pump, kitchen ventilator, load with motor, transformer, relay, compressor and so on.
  • Capacitive load. It is a capacitive load if the current is one phase difference leading ahead the voltage, such as the compensation capacitor, computer, television and other household switching power supplies.

The start-up power of the motor and other inductive loads is 5-7 times the rated power. In calculating the power of the pv solar inverter, the start-up power of these loads should be taken into account.

Better than I expected
This 700 watt off grid inverter is better than I expected. It's working well. I've been using it for three months now and haven't found any problems. Hopefully it will last a long time. I will order more and recommend this off grid solar inverter to my friends!!!

The off-grid solar inverter works well
Good results. Most functions have been evaluated and tested using oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and bench testing. The internal battery current indication is down 2%, but expected. The conversion efficiency is well above 90%, and the fans are turned off or off during periods of low power consumption.

Great off grid solar inverter
I am using an off grid solar inverter for about 3 months now, it is a very good inverter! I use it in a van to power a 1000-watt induction cooker, and the inverter runs completely quietly and will not disturb me. If it is hot in summer, the internal fan may be turned on for a few minutes.
