What is a solar generator?

A solar generator is a power generation device that generates electricity by shining sunlight on a solar panel and can power various devices.

Basic principle: Solar generators use the photoelectric effect of semiconductor materials to convert solar energy into electrical energy. When light shines on a solar panel, photons with sufficient energy can excite electrons to jump out of covalent bonds to form electron-hole pairs. These electrons and holes move to the N region and the P region respectively under the action of the electric field, thereby forming a voltage between the P region and the N region. The charge and discharge controller is used to control the charging and discharging process of the battery to prevent the battery from being overcharged or over-discharged. Solid little solar setup

I picked up the 100W version of this compact solar system for my off-grid cabin. It's been doing a pretty solid job powering my LED lights, phone chargers, and a small fan. The PWM charging mode keeps things efficient and my battery topped up nicely on sunny days, though I'll be honest, on cloudy days, the output drops more than I expected, which is just the reality of solar.
